Terms of use

These terms, and the data processing agreement annexed to them, bind Mavoix Digital and the CSE (works council: the elected employee representative body), as a legal entity. The elected representative who creates the space declares that they act on behalf of the CSE, with its agreement; each elected representative who enters it undertakes to respect them. A licence request commits the CSE: it is made by the secretary, the treasurer or the administrator, on a decision of the CSE.

1. What Mandava is

Mandava helps the elected representatives of the CSE (comité social et économique) of companies in France: preparing and holding meetings, defending an employee, following the texts of the industry, keeping the CSE's accounts.

Mandava is published by Mavoix Digital (see the legal notice).

2. Who can enter

Mandava is reserved for the members of the CSE and the people who sit on it in that capacity: full members, alternates, union representatives, union delegates, local representatives. The company's management has no account in Mandava: it sees only what the CSE publishes for all employees, the e-mails the CSE sends it and, if invited, the remote meeting.

The elected representative who creates their CSE's space becomes its administrator: they add their colleagues and remove those who leave the CSE. Each person enters with their own e-mail address and a code received by e-mail; an account is not to be lent.

3. What Mandava does, and what it does not do

4. The elected representatives' commitments

5. The publisher's commitments

5a. The CSE's data

The CSE is responsible for the data it puts in Mandava; Mavoix Digital processes it on the CSE's behalf, under the personal data processing agreement annexed to these terms, which forms part of them and prevails over them in case of contradiction about the data. The CSE remains the owner of its data.

6. Licence and payment

7. Closing the CSE's space

The CSE may ask at any time for its space to be closed, by writing to [email protected].

At the CSE's request, or on the last day of service set by the publisher (article 6), the publisher announces that last day in the application. From the next day, the space becomes read-only: for thirty days, the CSE's secretary or administrator can download all of the CSE's data, with the list of its files. Thirty days after that last day, the whole space is erased, files included, except licence invoices, kept for ten years as the law requires (French Commercial Code, Article L123-22). The hosting provider's backups disappear no later than ninety days after the last day of service. A mere late payment never erases anything: the space then stays read-only.

The publisher may suspend an account used in breach of these terms, after notifying the CSE's administrator, except in an emergency for the security of the other users.

8. Changes and governing law

If these terms change, the CSEs' administrators, secretary and treasurer are informed by e-mail at least thirty days in advance. A change in the price, the duration or the content of a licence already paid for applies only to the next licence. If the CSE refuses another change, it may end its licence before the change takes effect; the part paid in advance for the remaining period is then refunded.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, an amicable solution is sought first; failing that, the competent French courts will hear the case.

Terms in force since 15 October 2026, updated on 25 October 2026.
